Sa-choe-bum-ter Ceremony Held on 28th February 2026
This significant milestone marked the official commencement of Kinley Metals’ new project and represented an important step forward in the company’s continued commitment to contributing to the economic growth and industrial development of the region.
As part of the traditional and auspicious practices associated with the beginning of the project, the Sa-choe-bum-ter was prepared using earth excavated during the groundbreaking ceremony. The excavated earth was carefully used in the preparation of the consecrated Sa-choe-bum-ter, symbolizing the connection between the foundation of the project and the land on which it is being established.
Following its preparation and consecration, the Sa-choe-bum-ter was ceremonially placed at the center of the furnace on 28th February 2026, as well as at the four corners of the furnace building. This traditional practice was carried out as an auspicious offering and blessing for the project, with the intention of bringing stability, prosperity, success, and positive energy to the new undertaking.
The ceremony represents Kinley Metals’ respect for local traditions and cultural practices while embarking on an important new chapter in its development. By incorporating these traditional rituals into the project’s commencement, the company seeks to ensure that its industrial growth remains deeply rooted in the cultural values and traditions of the region.
The placement of the consecrated Sa-choe-bum-ter therefore stands as a meaningful milestone in the development of the project, symbolizing not only the physical establishment of the furnace facility but also the company’s hopes for a strong, prosperous, and successful future in the region.
